🌿Opening Honest Conversations About Widowhood Through AWPM Livestreams

Over the past few weeks, Africa Widows Prayer Movement (AWPM) has taken meaningful steps towards creating open, honest, and compassionate conversations surrounding widowhood in Africa. Through our livestream discussions, we have begun creating a space where real experiences, real challenges, and real stories can be shared openly with love, dignity, and understanding.

At AWPM, we believe widowhood is not a topic that should be hidden in silence. Many widows carry emotional pain, financial burdens, social isolation, and cultural challenges that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Through our livestreams, we are bringing awareness to these realities while also reminding widows and families that they are not alone.

Our recent livestream conversations focused on topics such as:

• healing through faith and encouragement

• cultural challenges widows face

• what meaningful support truly looks like

One of the most impactful parts of these conversations has been hearing directly from our Founder and President, Minister God’s Favor Odey-Amorjay (Mrs. Mary Echa Amoji-Ogar), whose personal experiences and heart for widows continue to shape the mission of AWPM.

These livestreams are more than discussions, they have become moments of connection, encouragement, healing, and awareness for people joining us from different communities and backgrounds.
